With US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle,
32 sts & 44 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
Flowerbed Stitch: 40 sts = 4” / 10 cm

PATTERN NOTE
These socks are worked cuff-down.
The instructions are written using the magic loop method with a circular needle.

We start with ribbing worked in the round from the cuff. For the leg, choose one of the Flowerbed Stitch patterns from the Stitch Guide on page 4 and work the chosen motif.

For the heel, the stitches are divided into N1 and N2, and only N1 stitches are worked back and forth to shape the heel flap and turn.

Then stitches are picked up along the heel flap and we resume knitting in the round.
On N1, we work in stockinette stitch while decreasing for the gusset; on N2, we continue the Flowerbed Stitch pattern on page 5.

After the foot is worked even, the toe is shaped with decreases and closed with grafting.

かかとはN1とN2に⽬を分け, N1のみを往復編みで作る.

かかとの⽬を拾い, 再び輪編みをしながらN1ではメリヤス編みと減らし⽬, N2では5 ページのFLOWERBED STITCHを編み, マチを作る.

マチから続けて⾜を編み, つま先で減らし⽬をしてとじる.
