Flowerdoodle Coaster & Hexagon

A versatile mosaic crochet pattern perfect for using up scraps and creating both small and large projects. The design has a clean, minimalistic look that almost resembles a floral doodle.

After working on larger projects, I felt inspired to create something smaller and more relaxing. Designing these motifs felt very similar to doodling — a calming and creative process that also made me excited about the possibilities.

The pattern includes fully written instructions (US terminology) with step-by-step photo guidance.

Included in the pattern:
• Round flower motifs for coasters
• Hexagon motifs for bags, table runners, shawls, blankets, pillows, and more

The motifs consist of 8 rounds worked in mosaic overlay crochet and can be made using 2 or multiple colors.

Recommended yarn:
• Any 8/8 cotton yarn or similar weight yarn in wool or acrylic
• For a sturdier fabric (great for bags), you can combine bulky macramé cord as the main color with 8/8 cotton yarn as the contrasting color

Skill level:
Intermediate or adventurous beginners with some experience in mosaic crochet.
