This is a pattern that I designed to make a Flowering Cactoid, like the ones found in Final Fantasy XII.

It is not a gauge-specific pattern, and can be made with any yarn and hook to any size, although the suggested yarn weight is DK, and the hook is 3.5mm.

You will need approximately 50g of yarn for the body, and scraps of red and yellow yarn for the flower.

Additional materials required besides yarn are: scraps of felt (yellow and black), dark green embroidery thread, and fabric glue.
