Flowering Twig is a delicate lace sock pattern featuring an elegant lace motif running along both the front and back of the sock, complemented by an interesting ribbed cuff.
The socks were knitted using a luxurious cashmere-blend yarn. While this is not a traditional choice for socks, it creates an exceptionally soft and comfortable finished piece. You can knit your Flowering Twig socks using a standard sock yarn. For the best stitch definition and to showcase the lace pattern beautifully, I recommend using a solid-coloured yarn.

MATERIALS: I used a cashmere blend yarn 100 g / 365 m

FINISHE MEASUREMENTS:
Woman’s Small (Medium, Large)
Foot circumference = 7.5 (8, 8.5) inches/ 19, 20, 21 cm
Foot length = 8.8 (9, 9.7) inches/ 22.5, 23.5, 24.5 cm

The socks are designed to fit with negative ease. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference measurement that is approximately 1inch/ 2.5 cm smaller than your actual foot circumference, so that the sock will fit nice and snug on your foot.

GAUGE: 10 x 10 cm/ 4’’ x 4’’ inch = 32 stitches and 46 rows in stocking sts using 2.5 mm needles

NEEDLES:
2.5 mm double pointed needles/ long circular needles for a magic loop or short socks needles
