Materials
- 7 (8) × 50 g balls are needed in total for the short-sleeved version with peplum, as the original
- For the waistcoat: 4 (5) × 50 g balls (plus 1 x 50g ball if adding the peplum)
- For the short-sleeved cardigan without peplum: 6 (7) × 50 g balls
- For the long-sleeved cardigan without peplum: 8 (9) x 50 g balls
- For the cardigan with peplum: 7 (8) x 50 g balls for short sleeves and 9 (10) × 50 g balls for long sleeves
For all styles
- 1 × 50 g ball 4 ply contrast (and the same amount in each additional colour if desired)
- 1 pair 2.75 mm/12 needles (3 mm/11)
- 1 pair 3.25/10 needles (3.75 mm/9)
- 1 pair 3 mm needles (for larger size)
- 1 × 3.25 mm/10 double-pointed cable needle (3.75 mm/9)
- 1 × 3 mm crochet hook (3.25 mm/10)
- 1 × 3.5 mm crochet hook (for larger size)
- 6 × buttons (can be adjusted)
- Optional shoulder pads
