Flowy skirt
This skirt is meant to hug your body in all the right places and hangs loosely where you do not want to show. Should look nice on those who have a bit of bum and belly. The linen fabric drapes beautifully creating flowing movement of the garment. Will fit for casual dressing as well as more formal occasions when paired with a jacket. Very nice for dancing due to the flowy drape when you move.
Measurements taken on the garment (not on the body!):
for sizes (1, 2, 3) (4, 5, 6) (7, 8, 9)
(62, 68, 77) (87, 98, 107) (117, 123, 131) cm/ (25, 27, 30) (34, 38, 42) (46, 48, 52)“ waist circumference,
(86, 91, 102) (112, 122, 134) (140, 145, 157) cm/ (34, 36, 40) (44, 48, 53) (55, 57, 62)“ hip circumference
and 60 cm/ 24“ total length.
Length is easily customized as the skirt is knit top-down.
The skirt is intended to wear with approximately 5 cm/2“ ease.
Samples are shown in size 5.
Yarn
Brown skirt is made with Isager Trio 2, two strands held together.
For the grey garment I used 100% linen yarn (no name unfortunately).
You can substitute any linen, viscose or silk yarn or blend of those that has a nice drape. Some merino/silk or merino/viscose blends
might be an option for a warmer skirt version.
