The Fluffy Border Vest is knitted by starting at the back from the top down to the base of the armholes. Then, both fronts are picked up and knitted separately to the armhole, and then the front and back are joined and knitted in flat down to the hem. 


Regarding the border, I highly recommend using the fluffiest yarn possible. The knitting method for the border is designed to accommodate the uniqueness of fluffy yarn. If you are using regular yarn, it won’t be able to replicate the same results as shown in the sample.

Gauge / With 8 mm (US 11) needle :
12 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10cm / 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking. Recommended ease : 10cm / 4” +

Size:
1 ( 2, 3, 4, 5 ) Sample is show in size 1 on a model who is 163 cm (5’- 4”) tall, and with 17cm / 6.75” positive ease.

Yarn:
This vest is knitted using the mentioned bulky yarn with two strands held together. If your yarn only requires single-strand knitting to achieve the same gauge, then you’ll only need half the total yardage.
