Sweater is worked from the bottom up; sleeves are worked in the round, grafted onto the body, and knit with the body for the yoke. The lace around the front of the cardigan carries up around the neck onto the collar.

The first part of the sweater is knit with two strands of the darker color held together, the middle and most of the sleeves with both
colors held together, the top of the body, sleeves, and yoke with two strands of the lighter color held together.
