Flukkra is Shaetlan for ‘snowflake’.

These oven mitts are knitted in oversized and then felted down to become a thick, protective pair of oven mitts. They not only protect your hands from the heat, but are also water resistant.

This pattern is suitable for beginner knitters.

The pattern is for Chunky yarn. You can get the same effect by using double strands of DK weight yarn.

Crochet hook 8mm for hook loop.
