Materials: about 100 yds of a 4.5 st/inch yarn
Needles: US 8, or as desired

Triple Throw: insert needle thru next stitch as if to knit, wrap yarn around the needle 3 times, then finish the knit stitch as usual.

Slip Cluster: bring yarn forward, slip next 5 sts. to right needle, letting the extra wraps drop off as you do so, then bring yarn to back, slip these 5 sts back to the left needle and knit them

Attach a button or use shawl pin to secure. The openings of the clusters make great button holes so you don’t need to work them in as you knit.
