Playing with the brioche stitch, and envisioning a new texture of lines with stockinette brioche instead of a ribbed look, Flutes is a notch-neck tee offers an effortless, comfortable, modern look with using 2 different textured yarn in the same/similar shades. This creates a subtle illusion of vertical stripes, revealed through texture rather than color.
The name Flutes draws from the vertical grooves found in classical columns. Repeated, soft channels that shape light and shadow across a surface. In this design, those grooves are translated into fabric: gentle, flowing lines formed through brioche, where matte and sheen interact quietly.
The saddle shoulder construction allows the columns to flow, while the garter neck with short rows fits the neck comfortably, finished with a slit and I-cord detail. The hem and sleeve edges mirror the garter neck, completing the look seamlessly.
