traverse the high seas with the haunted flying dutchman, a ghost ship rumoured to be a portent of doom for live sailors. or maybe don’t be quite so creepy, and leave the murky seas to nox yarn co.’s holy terror colourway travelling up your foot in thick cables like ropes winding up a mast. dating back as far as the 17th century, the penny dreadful version of this tale was written in the mid-1800s by one of the most prolific writers of the genre, and adapted into an opera by wagner a couple years later.

welcome to a season of penny dreadfuls, and socks inspired by the 19th century equivalent of pulp fiction.
