For this Flying Fish Scarf, I used one entire skein each of Madelinetosh’s Tosh Merino Light in the colors Modern Fair Isle and El Greco.

I created this stitch pattern while teaching in Kardemyli, Greece for Jean Moss Tours. It reminded me of flying fish, hence the name. It is a lovely stitch for scarves or blankets because both sides have a different appearance.

Please familiarize yourself with 2-color brioche knitting before tackling this pattern. I have an online class at www.craftsy.com/brioche, or see http://www.briochestitch.com or the “how to” pages of Knitting Brioche and Knitting Fresh Brioche.
