The Foggy Forest Shawl is the perfect accessory for those early morning drives through winding, misted country roads nestled in valleys of mountains and trees. The lacy texture mimics the transparency of fog, but still has a warm, cozy weight to it. The cotton blend yarn used has a great drape and softness to it. I used a solid gray, but variegated or multicolored yarn would look super cute and not take anything away from the lacy texture.

Finished Product Size: 23.5” x 45” x 42”

Materials:
-1 Skein of Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Yarn, 392 yds or 200 grams, in the color “Silver Lining”, or any DK weight cotton yarn
-5.5 mm Crochet Hook
-Scissors
-Tapestry needle, for weaving in ends

Pattern Notes:
-Written in American terms
-Each CH 3 counts as DC
-There is a lot of repeating and increasing in this pattern, but there are some solid DC rows where the increase is left out for shaping purposes.
-What I mean:
-2 DC - 2 DC in the same stitch
-DC 2 - DC in the next 2 stitches

The pattern can be continued if you would like it bigger, but this size is great just to drape around your neck.
