Manipulating a self-striping yarn with an interesting stitch pattern, short-rows, or unusual construction can bring out the beauty of the yarn.

The Folded Blanket Hat uses unusual construction makes the colors into triangles, trapazoids, and wide and narrow stripes. The hat is worked with short-rows in strips and joined as you knit. The crown can either be worked in the round or in short-row triangles, finishing with either grafting or a short three-needle bind off.

The other hats in this collection include Strata Hat and TryAngles Hat. Also included in the eBook is Strata Mitts.
