Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Summer 2008: “Worked in a silky and sinuous organic-cotton and milk-fiber yarn, Michelle Katerberg’s Folded Cowl Tee is all gentle curves. A scalloped hem, simple lace, and delicate cap sleeves finish a simple, flattering silhouette.”

Finished Size: 34¼ (37¾, 41½, 45¼, 48¾)“ bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 34¼” with 1” of short-row bust shaping and modeled with about 2” positive ease. Less ease would give a tailored fit.

Yarn: Vickie Howell Collection Craft (65% organic cotton, 35% milk fiber; 137 yd 125 m/50 g): #779 share (pink), 6 (6, 7, 7, 8) balls. Yarn distributed by South West Trading Co.

Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); removable markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Note: There is more width in front than back through the body. Extra increases in the upper chest are for front neck drape. This and the short-row bust shaping make the style particularly suited to figures with more than halve their width in front.
