Foldsphere
To celebrate the release of this new pattern, I’m offering 15% off as a small thank you for your support. The celebration will run until February 8th (Taiwan Time).
Story of Foldsphere
Foldsphere is a loop cowl that continues my ongoing exploration of origami knitting — a technique that transforms simple stitches into sculptural, three-dimensional forms.
Just like my earlier origami designs, Foldsphere plays with depth, shadows, and movement, inviting the fabric to fold and unfold in a rhythmic, architectural way. The motif builds on the same principles I’ve loved working with: clean lines, geometric precision, and the quiet magic of seeing flat knitting rise into structure with just a twist of technique.
What makes Foldsphere special is its versatility. Because it’s a loop cowl, you can wear it in multiple ways — draped, folded, doubled, or spread out to showcase every peak and valley of the origami texture. The folds create a dynamic surface that shifts as you move, catching light differently from every angle, making it both a functional winter accessory and a little wearable sculpture.
Whether you’re already familiar with my origami pieces or discovering this style for the first time, Foldsphere offers the same meditative joy: watching a simple series of stitches bloom into something dimensional, tactile, and beautifully unexpected.
Let the folds wrap, expand, and shape themselves around you — that’s where the magic happens.
