The simplest color work, a ‘wrong side’ that is completely different yet as nice as its reverse and a clever little trick with a crochet hook for the finishing yield whole that is greater then the sum: A light and gauzy scarf knit in a deliciously soft yarn with brilliant retro colors.

10” x 64” before blocking
13” x 67 ½” after
(Excluding fringe)

Ultra Alpaca Fine color 1207: Steel Cut Oats; 1 skein
Ultra Alpaca Light color 4215: Star Sapphire; 1/2 skein
& color 4228: Poppy; 1/2 skein

22 sts/19 rows = in St st aggressively blocked for width.

Gauge is not critical

Please note, if substituting the yarn for MC, there was not 6” of yarn left after the a 5x5 swatch, a scarf and the finge had all been worked.

8/30 Errata: In the directions for the braid st, please return the ssk’d st to the LEFT needle, rather then the right, which is where it is already. An Updated PDF will be sent out very shortly.
