The Folk Blouse uses DK weight bamboo cotton yarn with a tension (gauge) of 5 groups to 10cm/4in. It is available in both UK and US crochet terms. It is intermediate level. It comes in 8 sizes (see photos for sizing and yarn quantities). It has charts and diagrams to help you. It also has several options which allow you to customise the top to fit you perfectly. It is made in two panels - front and back, which start from the colourful bib and work outward in a U shape. It has positive ease of 3-5cm (1¼ -2”).

You can add or omit the ribbed hem, depending on preference, but the real finishing touches are the front ties and the optional ruffle armhole trim with contrast edging.
