Folk Flower Sweater
The sweater is knitted from the top down. Stitches are cast on at the shoulder slope, and the back is worked flat down to the underarm. Stitches are then picked up at the shoulders to work the front flat.
The front and back are joined on a large circular needle to work the lower body in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armhole to knit the sleeves in the round.
Yarn
Hobbii Upcycled Alpaca Wool Big
50% Alpaca, 50% Wool
50 g = 120 m (weight : fine)
Colours : Pasture (08) for the main colour and Almond (01) for the flower pattern.
Gauge : 24 stitches x 30 rows with 3.5 mm needles in stockinette stitch, blocked.
Adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
You will need one main color for the background and one secondary color for the motif.

The recommended ease is approximately 20 cm (7 3/4’’). Knit one size down for a less “oversized” fit.
