This doll dress is created based on folk clothes of the European Alpine region.
My doll dress consists of a blouse, bodice and skirt, which are combined into a single piece. The layered petticoat is worn under the skirt and crocheted separately.

The dress is made for a 13” doll.

!!!! Don’t be upset if your doll has other sizes or your yarn differs from mine. My pattern describes how you can change the stitches to fit your doll and your yarn.

The pattern consists of 19 pages and includes a lot of step-by-step photos.

Measurements of my finished dress:

length of the dress - 12.5 cm (4.92 in)
width along the waist - 7 cm (2.75 in)
sleeve length - 4 cm (1.57 in)

length of the petticoat - 5.5 cm (2.16 in)

Materials
Yarn:
for the blouse and bodice:
Mercerized cotton yarn (Superfine, #1) 50g/ 282m (308 yds)
or any other cotton/acrylic superfine yarn
white - for the blouse
any nice color - for the bodice
for the skirt:
Mercerized cotton yarn (Superfine, #1) 50g/ 282m (308 yds)
or any other cotton/acrylic yarn of fitting thickness
note: the blouse yarn should be no thicker than your bodice and skirt yarn

for the petticoat:
any thin cotton/acrylic white yarn for the base and frills
superfine white yarn for lace along the bottom edge

  • Crochet hook 1.5 mm
  • 2-3 snap buttons for fastening
  • Sewing thread in the same colors
  • Fast drying glue (optional)
  • Scissors, needles, stitch markers, pins
