Meet the Folk Tale Shawl!
This 1860s - 1870s inspired wraparound shawl is knitted from the top-center down in one piece, and has i-cord ties off the wing tips to tie it around your waist. It uses a main color and three contrast colors, so you can play around with color combos to your heart’s content! While it comes in four sizes, there are additional notes should you want to make any more size adjustments. It is the coziest, warmest hug around your torso and is super comfortable to wear as it stays in place even while you’re up and about!

The shawl is worked up in three bands of a simple yet subtly different striping sequences, with slipped stitch triangles in between the stripes (I like to think of these as, lil’ baby shawlies). These triangles are deceptively easy and require no colorwork! The pattern includes both written and charted instructions for each band.
