This vintage-inspired, garden-themed tea cozy makes a cheery addition to your breakfast or afternoon tea table! Knit flat in two pieces, this pattern is a great exercise in stranded colorwork (and sewing seams) for new knitters, and a quick project for experienced knitters — perfect for using those DK mini skeins and yarn odds and ends.

10 grams each of the three contrasting colors.

SIZE
This tea cozy is designed to fit a classic English teapot with a 4-cup capacity. Finished measurements (flat) are 8 inches wide, 5.5 inches tall.

Pattern can be easily adjusted to fit larger teapots. To increase the width, simply cast on extra stitches and add them to both edges of the tea cozy front and back. To increase the height, knit more rows of ribbing at the bottom (CO) edge, or more plain rows of stockinette stitch in MC at the top, or both.
