Pattern is a popular Feather and Fan or Old Shale without the reverse ridges. It is a 24 stitch repeat instead of the 18 stitch which makes the waves more pronounced. Use stitch markers between pattern repeats to avoid a lot of counting. Makes it easier to spot missed Yarn Overs. Knitted flat it gives the impression of rolling waves just before they break and crash onto the beach. Folly Beach is a local beach here in South Carolina known as the Edge of America,

Blanket used 2.5-3 skeins of Bernat Baby Softee Antique White. Size can be adjusted by adding pattern repeats, yarn weight, and needle size. By going up a needle size it will be lighter and the lace airy. Lightly Steam block when finished.

There is an update to the written stitch pattern it should say: (YO, K1) 7x, YO, K2tog, 4x
