Fonno-mittens are worked in the round in a stretchy 2/2 rib and keep things nice and simple— both mittens are identical, so no need to figure out left from right. The two different sizes are created with different yarn weights and needle sizes. Options are given for both sizes for knitting with one yarn on its own, or two yarns held together for mittens with a bit of halo and extra warmth. The pattern includes two thumb options: a narrow one and a roomier wide version, perfect for larger hands or thumbs that like a bit of extra space. The size M sample uses the narrow thumb, while both size L samples are shown with the wide thumb.
