The Footruffles Socks pattern features simple lace combined with twisted stitch ribbing and cables for a snug and cozy fit. The socks are worked from the toe up with a ribbed gusset, reinforced short row heels, and heel flap. Familiarizing yourself with cabling without a cable needle will speed up working the cables.

The pattern describes working with double pointed needles, with the instep/front of the foot on the first and second needles, and the sole/back on the third and fourth needles. However, socks can be worked on two circular needles or on other types of needles convenient for the knitter. The pattern is fully charted and written out, with separate charts/written instructions for each size.

The pattern contains 17 pages. Clickable Table of Contents is given on the last page of the pattern. Check it out before deciding which pages to print out.
