For the Love of Stripes is a cute simple colourwork hat inspired by Valentine’s Day. This hat has a generous and slouchy fit with 1-2” of positive ease around the head (depending on head size). It’s the perfect hat to wear all February long to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

For the Love of Stripes is knit in the round from the brim up. 16” circular needles are used until the decrease rounds when it is necessary to switch to DPNs or magic loop to maintain tension. Colours are carried up the back of the work and not cut except where indicated. Colourwork instructions are written and charted.
