I fell in love with this next colorway in the Madelinetosh Zodiac collection. It spoke to me and the design came fairly quickly. The name for this pattern however was a real brain stumper. It wasn’t until after completing the photoshoot that the name came to me. Out of all the beanies the lovely Ann Ethington modeled for me that day, this one spoke the most to her. Ann’s smile just became more vibrant and joyful. As she has worked as a mermaid in the past (best mermaid ever in my opinion) and requested to keep the beanie “For the Mermaid” fit perfectly.
