The design on this blanket is inspired by a 15th-16th century tile from St. George’s Church in Fordington, Dorchester, England.

Even though this blanket has a huge visual impact, it uses only very basic techniques. It’s ideal for knitters nervous about doing anything “advanced”! Mosaic knitting makes colourwork easy; and garter stitch means the blanket lies flat without needing a border. It’s also super thick and squishy - perfect for cuddling babies!
