The Forest Hills Wrap is part of my Spring 2018 Remarkable Yarns Collection: a set of three accessories and four sweater patterns designed to work equally well with both Rosy Green Wool and Crave Yarns Caravan.

It’s a generously-sized, luscious-to-wear wrap, worked in simple Broken Rib and Garter Stitch with an unusual construction. Alternate instructions for a scarf version are also included.(Alternate Scarf Dimensions: 91’’ (231 cm) in length, and 12” (30.5 cm) wide; scarf takes 3 hanks yarn instead of 5.)

Materials
The Forest Hills Wrap, like the rest of the Remarkable Yarns spring 2018 collection, is meant to work equally well with two yarns:

  • Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy 100% Virgin Wool, Organic Merino Extra Fine; machine washable 350 yds / 320 m per 100g
  • Crave Yarns Caravan 70%SW Fine Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Camel, 10% Mulberry Silk 354 yards / 324 m per 100g

It’s shown in Cheeky Merino Joy in the color “Night Sky”; the wrap will take 5 hanks of either yarn.

Construction
The wrap is constructed in 5 (7 for the scarf) alternating segments of Broken Rib worked flat; this wrap will require both picking up stitches and simple mattress stitch to complete. Diagrams for assembly are included in the PDF.
