A beautiful triangular shawl with a richly textured pattern that resembles leaves. It looks especially striking when worked in gradient yarn. No need to swatch — just start crocheting and keep going until you reach the desired size or run out of yarn!

Recommended yarn: #1 Super Fine (also suitable: #2 Fine)
I used 1 skein of YarnArt Flowers, color 308, 1000 m (1093 yd), and a 3.5 mm (US E-4) hook.

Skill level: Intermediate
The whole pattern is built using front and back post double crochets, giving the shawl its distinctive sculpted texture.

Stitches you’ll need to know:
– FPDC – front post double crochet
– BPDC – back post double crochet
– 3 FPDC tog – three front post double crochets together
– 2 BPDC tog – two back post double crochets together

The pattern includes a stitch diagram, written instructions up to Row 45, and progress photos.

Happy crocheting!
