When you walk in the deep forest you can always hear magical whispers… sometimes it’s just a barely audible sound, but in the other day your ears catches a song of the trees. Have you ever thought what they would like to tell you? Maybe it’s something about what you want to ask them? Just stay for a moment, take a breath and listen. You definitely will hear more than you expected.


Forest Mystery is a shawl knitted completely seamless. You start with just two stitches and make it larger with every other row. So it means you can adjust the size of this project and make it as big as you want.

Yarn:
Eden Cottage Yarns „Oakworth DK” (100% superwash Polwarth; 100 g – 245 yds/ 224 m) or other DK weight yarn that knits up to the gauge; 3 skeins; sample color : Larch

Needles:
4.5 mm/ US #7 circular needles 100 cm, 4 mm/ US #6 needles

Gauge:
24 sts x 32 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in garter stitch after blocking on bigger needles
Gauge is not crucial for this project but may affect finished measurements and yardage.

Notions:
cable needle, 2 locking stitch markers, darning needle

Measurements:
The sample is 76.5 ”/ 195 cm from side to side and 35.5”/ 90 cm from top to bottom at the deepest point.
