Forest Sweater
Forest Sweater is a simple children’s raglan sweater worked from the top down. It is knitted with one strand of Infinity Hearts Lily held together with one strand of DROPS Kid-Silk, giving the sweater a soft, warm fabric with a lightly fluffy surface.
The sweater has a clean shape with a ribbed neckline, ribbed hem, and ribbed cuffs. The body and sleeves are worked mainly in stocking stitch, which keeps the expression calm and classic. The length can be adjusted while knitting, making it easy to adapt the sweater to the child’s height or preferred fit.
The construction starts at the neck with ribbing before the yoke is shaped with raglan increases. After the yoke, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold while the body is worked in the round. The sleeves are then knitted separately in the round on double-pointed needles and finished with ribbing. No major sewing is required apart from weaving in the ends.

Design details
Forest Sweater is defined by its simple top-down raglan construction and soft two-yarn fabric. The Lily yarn gives structure, while the Kid-Silk adds warmth and a light halo. The design has minimal finishing, and the adjustable body length makes it practical for children’s everyday wear.
