Hi there!
I’m so happy that you’re going to make my Forever Jacket. This jacket, inspired by the Miu Miu jacket, is truly a gem and very enjoyable to make. By the end of this crochet journey, you’ll have a beautiful, stylish, warm, and functional jacket.

Have fun making your Forever Jacket, and feel free to adapt it however you like. If you want to share your piece on social media, please do! If you mention that you learned it from me, I’ll happily repost it so my community can also see your work.

A big hug,
Cami

Materials (Size L):
Worsted Yarn of your choice (175 meters)
6 skeins black
2 skeins white
5 mm crochet hook
Scissors
Measuring tape
Tapestry needle
For other sizes: Add or subtract 1 skein of each color as needed.

P.S.: To make your jacket, you should watch the video to understand the details of the piece, but you should also follow the step-by-step instructions described in this PDF.
Attention!
We start the work with the front part. This section is made up of two central panels with cable stitches and pockets. In addition, we use two colors on the upper part of the jacket.
You should make a swatch before starting your jacket. I recommend making a 15 x 15 cm swatch, using double crochet stitches going forward and single crochet stitches on the return rows.
Measure 10 cm horizontally in the middle of the swatch and check how many stitches you have.
Then measure 10 cm vertically to find out how many rows fit within that space using the yarn and hook you are working with.
Write down this information and do the calculations using the rule of three.
It is important to emphasize that, regardless of whether you use the same yarn as I do or a different one, your work will necessarily turn out differently from mine, since many factors influence the final result. Therefore, always make a swatch.
Here is the step-by-step video on how to make your swatch.
