This pattern has been removed in solidarity for my trans friends and family who have been unsupported by JKR’s strong belief that trans people are not valid.

This pattern will remain unavailable unless the author issues a sincere apology and makes amends for her TERF comments and blatant ignoring of a community she has hurt.

I will not provide links or emailed patterns in lieu of the missing pattern. Thank you for your understanding.**

Designed as a gift, this was an update for a friend who needed a new scarf to show her true colors as a Hufflepuff. I couln’t just make the same scarf design as before. So I did things a little differently.

Since 2017 is the year celebrated as the 20th anniversary of the first published book of the Harry Potter series, I would build it all upon that.

This infinity scarf is knit in the round as a tube and joined together in the end to create a seamless, never-ending, infinity scarf. And with an added half twist before joining, you’ll have a mobius as a true symbol of FOREVER.

JK Rowling shares a birthday with Harry Potter so it seemed fitting to start there. She was 52 years old this year and that makes a great width for a tube shaped scarf.
