Make a statement with this adorable handbag! This felted handbag is adorned with pretty forget-me-not flowers, the state flower of Alaska. The handbag is first knit, then the entire bag is felted down and shaped, and finally the flowers are stitched on using simple embroidery techniques.

Yarn needs
worsted-weight yarn (wool; no synthetics, no superwash so that it will felt)
◦200 m (220 yds) for purse shown in grey
◦10 m (10 yds) for flowers shown in light blue
◦4 m (4 yds) for stems/leaves shown in light green
◦2m (2 yds) for flower middles shown in yellow

The finished handbag has a circumference of 18”/46cm and a height of 6”/15cm.
