Inspired by, and named for the stubborn iron will and stoic determination to endure - regardless of the final outcome.

These socks symbolise the fortitude needed to face a long illness through their combination of cable-look twists and straightforward stitches which portray the balance between patience and perseverance.

The socks are worked in the round from the cuff-down.

This pattern is provided with written instructions and charts for the cabled design.

Finished measurements:
