Forward Motion Cowl

Intro price $5.25 through Midnight Monday Sept 21 No code needed price auto updated at checkout.

Casual but classy. Knit and purl ribbing with offset bars angling in opposing directions from the mid-line.

My favorite thing about this stitch design is that the patterning is effective folded, pinned or draped. No need to hold it out from the neck to get the full effect.

Written in US English, includes fully written out line by line instructions, plus a chart.

Worked in the round, bottom-up and top-down appearances are the same. Inner texture is also the same, no wrong side.

Established Beginner Skills: Knit, purl, pick up and purl, work in the round.

Can also be made with the zigzag in a single direction.

PATTERN STITCH GAUGE

21 stitches by 29 rounds = 4” (10 cm) Square.

A fabric you like is more important than exact gauge,
but changes from the given gauge will affect yarn requirements and final measurements.

NOTES

Stitch multiple is 14.

For a piece with a single directional slant
repeat Rounds 1 – 28, stopping on any even round.
