This super-squishy square lap blanket is ideal for using up all those scraps and leftovers of yarn lurking in your stash. Combine them any way you like – the only rule is to use yarn of roughly the same weight, but in different lengths.

For the sample shown, I used all my pastel scraps of Stylecraft Special DK, but you can easily adapt this for almost any combination of yarn. Bear in mind that if you use lighter or heavier yarn, you will have to adjust the size of your crochet hook accordingly.
