Four Square Single Crochet Baby Blanket
A free version is also available.
This pattern is also available for FREE on my website HERE.
Welcome to your very first colorwork baby blanket!
Choose four favorite colors and create the four square single crochet baby blanket! This is the perfect baby blanket for you to try your hand at colorwork for the first time!
You also avoid seaming!!
In crochet colorwork, you often have several skeins or bobbins of yarn attached at a time to create intricate designs. If you’ve never tried your hand at colorwork, this is an easy introduction as you’ll only have two skeins of yarn attached at a time.
This pattern is suitable for beginners who have worked up any project in single crochet before! I have a VERY detailed photo tutorial below.
I hope you enjoy this pattern!

Brava Worsted Weight 4 Medium (100% Acrylic, 218yd/199m, 3.5oz/100g):

Color C: 2 skeins Cream
Color D: 2 skeins White

NOTE on yarn quantity:
I had quite a bit of yarn left over for this blanket! You should easily be able to size up to say 36” x 36” if you’d like. Conversely, if your gauge matches mine, you could size down to 30” x 30” and SHOULD only need one skein of each color yarn. Last, it would be very easy to substitute and buy one larger skein of each color from a brand like Red Heart or I Love This Yarn. Good luck and enjoy!
