Fold-up 2 x 2 rib forms the brim. The body of the hat is 4 x 4 rope cables with 4 purl stitches between each cable.

Knitted seamlessly in the round from the bottom up on 16” (40 cm) circular needle; when decreasing for the crown switch to DPNs.

Sizes XS, S, M, L
Head Circumferences: 15”-16”, 16”-18”, 18”-20”, 20”-22”

Yarn
Shown in Kelbourne Woolens, Scout which is DK-weight 100% Wool. It has very good elasticity which makes the hat fit closely to the head, snugly around the ears and forehead for warmth and comfort.

None of the sizes of hats require more than one skein of the suggested yarn; in fact you can knit two of the small hats from one skein (one skein of Scout is 274 yards / 250 m/ 100g).
