The Fourth of July tank has a baby-doll shape -it will flatter 

any body. The yoke part in blue-white star pattern is designed with 1” negative ease.
The front and back of the yoke are worked back and forward from bottom to top.The shoulders are seamed using three-
needle method.The side seams are worked using a mattress
stitch.Then the stitches are picked up at the bottom of the yoke and
knitted from top down using the short rows technique.

You will need DK-weight yarn. The top is made by
Cotton Classic by Tahki Yarns (100% cotton; 108 yards/100 meters; 50 grams/ 1.75 ounces) :
4(4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins in White color #3001
2(2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3) skeins in Blue color #3871
3(3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins in Red color #3424.
Gauge: 19 sts and 26 rows = 4’/10 cm in St Stitch in the round by needle 5US/ 3.75mm
19 sts and 30 rows = 4”/10 cm in Star stitch pattern by needle 5US/ 3.75mm in flat.
