This PDF knitting is written in English for intermediate knitters knitting flat on two needles.

The fox is one of my favorite patterns, but it’s not one of the easiest unless you’re comfortable doing the fur loop stitch. The end result is so fun, though. It’s definitely worth the extra effort. Also, be aware that the fur loops can be dangerous for babies and small children, whose fingers can get caught and twisted in the loops.

You need to have…
• Yarn in desired color(s) and weight (~3oz/50g for sport weight; ~12oz/350g for worsted)
• Dark contrast yarn for eyes and nose
• Knitting needles at least 2 sizes smaller than those recommended for the yarn being used
• Stuffing
• Tapestry needle

You need to know (or learn)…
• Stockinette stitch
• Increase and decrease stitches
• Mattress stitch for sewing seams
• Moss stitch (for the ears)
• Fur loop stitch (for the tail)
• Basic color change techniques (optional)
