Fox Love Jacket
The pattern remains available but the pattern has been complained about (see errata below)
The cost of re-tech editing is prohibitive, and the pattern never sold enough to pay for itself to begin with. Such is the life of independent publishing. If you purchase this pattern, be aware that there was a beginner knitter who found the pattern to be an obstacle to a successful project and insisted I discontinue it. I have reduced the cost to reflect this but continue to believe in the pattern.
Traditionally constructed novelty sweater jacket with set-in sleeves, intarsia fox motifs, Fair Isle borders, and zipper closure. Sweater is knit flat, not steeked, although if you are so inclined, go for it. Inspired by a fit of nostalgia for the picture sweaters of my childhood, and my son’s love of – well – foxes. Sample is worn with 6” of positive ease.
5 (6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 9] skeins MC, #6105 Oats
1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins CC2, #6101 Mochi
2 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3) skeins CC1, #6179 Chocolate
1 skein CC3, #6176 Pumpkin
Notions include a separating zipper 26 (28, 30, 32, 32, 34, 34)” or of the desired length to match completed sweater.
Errata: the Fox Chart is missing the one square that is the tip of his left ear, but you can easily see where it should be.
