~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a crochet pattern for a fox scarf. The size is adult, but can easily fit teens and pre-teens, and the length can be changed to suit your needs. This pattern is not recommended for small children. Use at own risk.
You will need 2 colors of yarn. A little more than 1 skein of the Carrot color (orange) and about 1/2 skein of the Aran color (off white). You also need black and off white sewing thread, and 3 buttons (or you can crochet your own eyes and nose.
YARN: I wrote this pattern with Red Heart Super Saver in mind, however, I do not use that brand/product any longer. You can use any worsted weight yarn and hook size to match. of course the thinner the yarn and smaller the hook the smaller your scarf will be.
I prefer to use I Love This Yarn and Caron Simply Soft for this project.
You can make this one in any color you like, grey/white to look like a silver fox, wolf, or a husky, or maybe you prefer browns and black to make it look like a dog of your choice. Endless possibilities.
Please do not share my pattern in any form. You are however allowed to sell any finished crochet items you make using my patterns.
NOTE: Keyhole scarves should never be used for small children as they do pose a strangulation hazard. Use at own risk.
No refunds. All transactions on digital patterns are final
