Foxglove Scarf Knitting Pattern
A pretty ruffle edged scarf inspired by an all-time favourite wild flower
A simple pattern with a small knitting challenge. The foxglove petal ruffle is fully explained and easy to follow (great as a first ruffle knitting project) The main body of the scarf is stocking stitch with a moss stitch border to stop is curling. The scarf is knitted in two sections and then knitted together
Double knitting or worsted yarn and 4.00mm knitting needles required
The pictured scarf is knitted in a wool mix double knitting yarn in foxglove pink
It can also be made in other yarn weights
Finished scarf approximately 110cm long and 25cm wide – it is designed to be quite short so the ruffles will show around mid-chest when the scarf is worn – but it will easily adapt to other sizes
