Materials Needed:
H/6.5MM hook
Worsted (#4) Weight yarn
Yarn needle

This pattern creates a 7.5” square. It is written in US terms. You will need to know front post double crochet (fpdc) stitches and how to increase and decrease them.

Abbreviations & Terms - US terminology:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Bb - back bump
Fpdc - front post double crochet
FpdcDEC - front post double crochet decrease -special stitch explained below
YO - yarn over
Sk - skip
R - round
St - stitch
FO - finish off

FpdcDEC - yarn over (YO), insert hook from front to back around the post of the 1st st, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through 2 loops (you now have 2 loops on the hook), YO, insert hook from front to back around the post of the 1st st, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through 2 loops (now you have 3 loops), YO, pull through all 3 loops on the hook.

Gauge:
7 sc x 8 rows = 2x2”
Thankfully with blankets, gauge doesnt matter to much, so just have fun with it!
