Is it a magic spell? Absolutely. And we invite you to use it liberally, as you make your way through this festive mystery project as part of this year’s Woolly Mammoth Fibre Co. Yarn Advent.



Enjoy discovering the colourful mini-skeins one by one, and watching them transform upon your needles into something at once unexpected and warmly familiar.



Inspired by the vintage illustrations of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by the late Belfast author C.S. Lewis., this playful collaboration has brought back for us those giddy feelings of wonder we have all experienced in childhood. And we hope it does the same for you. Thank you for joining us on this winter holiday Adventure.

For those who plan to work on this project in ‘Advent Surprise mode’ (whereby you open one mini-skein at a time without seeing all the colours at once), the pattern has likewise been divided into 12 Chapters to avoid spoilers.

Download one chapter at a time, starting with Chapter 1.

Each chapter will then tell you which mini-skein to open.

To be clear: Download each Chapter before you open each mini, because the order in which the mini-skeins appear in the pattern is different from the numerical order in which they are labelled.

In short: Start with Chapter 1, and all will be explained.
