Fractal Shawl
This shawl is versatile and beginner friendly. With only a few base rows - this repeating, easy-to-remember pattern is great for a beginner looking for a larger project.
Supplies:
Any yarn 400-1000+ yards
An appropriate hook (for this I used an I hook and 1,100 yards of a double stranded sock weight cotton yarn). Almost any yarn/hook will work for this! Just make sure your hook isn’t too small if you’re using a bulky yarn, the bigger the hook, the more open and pretty your lace will be.
I have included step-by-step directions and photos in this pattern.
Stitches used:
Chain
Double crochet
Triple crochet
Magic circle (YouTube has many great videos to help with this if you aren’t familiar with this method).
