Fragmented Dream
This pattern was originally published as Weird Sisters’ contribution to the 2026 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 5-8, 2026 in Portland, Oregon. This pattern is also available for download as part of the 2026 Pattern Collection: Mythical Creatures.
In the chimera’s shadowy form, a unique beauty is found not in light, but in its enigmatic and fragmented nature. This unconventional artistry comes from the subtle grace with which its disparate parts merge, creating an unexpected harmony from unlikely unions. The piece is constructed sideways from point to point with a series of increases and decreases, using the technique of cable intarsia but can also be worked in a solid color.
